Ford S-MAX in Mochdre Conwy
Smarten up your family adventures with the Ford S-MAX. Now powered by a 2.5 Duratec 190PS full hybrid engine that starts and sets off silently on electric power, it’s more refined and efficient than ever. You can get yours with a powered tailgate as standard, and all versions have a class-leading 10.1" semi-digital instrument cluster and an 8” SYNC 3 touchscreen. A great drive awaits, all wrapped up in a beautifully sculpted body that’s easy to park thanks to front and rear parking sensors.
Titanium, ST-Line and Vignale models are available. ST-Line versions have sports styling, 18” alloys, tinted headlights and taillights, powered front seats and half-leather seats. Vignale models add a powered tailgate, 19” alloys, adaptive LED headlights, climate-controlled front seats and Windsor leather upholstery. Seven seats come as standard, and you can configure the seating to expand the boot capacity in interesting ways.
Design
Elegant yet interesting, the Ford S-MAX is a beautifully composed family car. ST-Line models stand out with a sports styling kit, red brake callipers and tinted headlights. Vignale models are luxurious, with LED headlights and plush leather seats.
Drive
The 2.5 Duratec 190PS hybrid engine kicks out 187bhp and 148 lb-ft of torque, returning up to 43.5mpg combined. It’s paired to a CVT auto gearbox, and all versions get cruise control, Lane-Keeping Aid with Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Practicality
The S-MAX has an extended wheelbase for generous legroom and the seven-seat layout ensures you always have enough space for the family. In 7-seat mode, the boot has 285-litres of space, expanding to 965-litres in 5-seat mode.
Living with it
The 8” touchscreen has SYNC 3 voice control, in-built navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All versions have heated front seats and a heated windscreen, with Vignale models boasting climate-controlled front seats with massage.
